Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira will launch on July 2011

The official Twitter account for the media production company Frontier Works announced on Friday that a new original video anime series, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kira, is launching to mark the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni horror franchise's 10th anniversary. CLAMP, I.G to Collaborate on Blood-C Original Anime

The May issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine is announcing on Saturday that the anime studio Production I.G and the manga creator quartet CLAMP are collaborating on a new Blood original anime called Blood-C, which will launch this July. CLAMP is creating the story and original character designs, and Production I.G is handling the animation.

In addition, Ranmaru Kotone (Diasta of Ultima Thule, Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo -Tokikake-) will adapt the project into a manga, which will launch in the July issue of Shōnen Ace on May 26. The official website for the project will open at the www.blood-c.jp address, which was registered by Aniplex.

Madoka Magica is Postponed

According to the official twitter, the producers will keep on working hard to air the remaining two episodes by the end of April.

Urobuchi Gen posted on his twitter that he was sorry for betraying people's anticipation, which was originated from Urobuchi's optimistic comments. He said it had been so painful for these ten days that he couldn't stand without believing a good outcome.
